Meaning of the Title "Bleach"
A lot of people don't know the meaning of the title "Bleach" Some have even watched the entire series so far without asking. The explanation for Tite Kubo's choice of a name is simple.
Each Shinigami in the series possesses a sword known as a zanpakuto. Each of these swords are created from the individual souls of the Shinigami. The main purpose of a Shinigami is to perform Konsu (Soul Burial) and purify the souls of Hollows.
The zanpakutos work by slashing a Hollow and reverting it back to its original form; the form they appeared as directly after death. The purification relates to bleach in the sense that bleach purifies and "erases" all "stains". A Hollow's "stains" are the crimes they have committed after death. They can be cured of these "stains" and possibly go to the Soul Society after Konsu is performed. If they have committed sins before death, they may still go to Hell.
In conclusion, the name symbolizes the purification of a soul such as bleach erases stains.

Shinigami with Special Abilities Aside from Bankai
Hey readers, sorry I haven't posted in a while. I've been really busy at school,... but now I'm back! Feels good to be back. Aside from the matter of my return, I was recently asked a question by a fellow Bleach fan. Why is it that some characters either don't have bankai or don't possess the ability to summon bankai, but possess a number of other special abilities beyond the release of shikai? Characters like this include: Kisuke Urahara, Kenpachi Zaraki, & Hanataro Yamada. This has always been a subject that I've pondered upon because Kenny and Hat 'n Clogs are two of my favorite characters.
Hanataro wields a zanpakuto named Hisagomaru (瓠丸 Gourd). He resides in the 4th Division and is captain of its 14th Relief Squad. At many points near the beginning of Ichigo's journey's in the Soul Society, Hanataro takes care of his wounds. He saves his life many a time. Like all Shinigami, Hanataro has a zanpakuto, though he rarely uses it in battle. Its shikai, as I previously mentioned, is named Hisagomaru. Hanataro either cannot or will not release bankai, but the sword has healing abilities that Hanataro has used to close wounds with Renji, Ichigo, and more of his close relations.
Kenpachi's zanpakuto's name is never known. The explanation by Tite Kubo and many of his loyal fans is that Kenny is merely strong enough to fight off most any foes without the aid of a bankai. An example of this is when Ichigo first uses Zangetsu to try and slash Kenny's chest. The attempt uses a lot of Ichigo's strength, but no mark is left. Not even the slightest scratch. Plus, whenever Kenny is nearby, most anyone can sense his presence because of the super immense strength of his spiritual pressure. He does, however, reveal extra abilities predominately triggered by the removal of his eye-patch which is thought to be a binding on his spiritual pressure. Some think, that without the patch, most would die in the presence of Kenpachi Zaraki. These extra abilities include large outburst of yellow energy accompanied by Kenny's insane laughter and the signature bell tones associated with the bells at the tips of his hair spikes.
Kisuke Urahara is well known to be a pretty powerful Shinigami though he was exiled to the human world. He was once the captain of the 12th Division and is the founder of the Shinigami Research and Development Institute. His zanpakuto's name is Benehime (深紅色のプリンセス Crimson Princess). He does know bankai and can release his. This is learned when Yoruichi mentions that Kisuke was able to accomplish bankai in the same three day training like Ichigo. Special abilities aside from bankai include: Nake (Scream or Sing), Chikasumi (Blood Mist Shield), Shibari (Binding), Hiasobi (Fire Playing), and Juzutsunagi (Beaded Mesh)

Rukia & Mizuiro Hair
Do any of you guys remember when Rukia first enrolled in Karakura High School? You know, where readers are first introduced to Ichigo's school friends. Well, what always got me in that first school moment in the series was that Mizuiro and Rukia have the same hair style. When I first saw the two of them together in a panel, I had to take a second glance. It seems as though Tite Kubo has given both characters the big, round hair with outwards points at the bottom and the loose hair hanging across their foreheads. I wonder why? If any of you have read and/or seen Inuyasha (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/InuYasha) some of you may have realized the similarities between young Rin and Kagome. My conclusion, in comparison to both accounts of similarly designed character appearance, is that Mizuiro, though not mention so far, is one of Rukia's ancestors. Think about it. Rukia states that she has lived "many of your lifetimes" to Ichigo when they first meet in his bedroom. This opens the possibility that her family line could have continued for a few generations after she died and became a Shinigami thus resulting in Mizuiro later being born and growing up as the main character Ichigo's best friend. Comments on my theory?...

looks like any other normal, Japanese teenage boy, except for his
spiky, orange hair which has caused him issues for years. He is a
tall, lean-built boy with peach toned skin and dark brown eyes. He
prefers to wear tight clothes both top and bottom.
His
shirts have a tendency to present a pattern with the number 15 due to
his name being a homonym for the Japanese of the number.
When
he became a Shinigami, he became stronger in sense of muscularity.
When
in spiritual form, Ichigo wear the traditional Shinigami attire with
a strap across his chest. Originally, the strap was a thick, brown
belt to hold his Zanpakuto's sheath upon his back. Later, it became a
red beaded strap, each bead shaped like diamonds with flat tips.
Ichigo's
spiritual appearance is noticed as a similarity to Kaien Shiba, the
former lieutenant of the 13th
Division, by many people.
After
his Dangai training, Ichigo's hair grows considerably longer and
taller.
However,
when Ichigo loses all of his spiritual powers after the use of the
final getsuga tenshou, his appearance reverts to his pas looks.
